Persistence in the face of obstacles

Tonight’s Lesson from Ascended Master Yeshua / Jesus is this:

I will begin tonight with another story for you.

This story has to do with persistence in the face of obstacles.

There once was a man who, over and over, protected his garden crops from the damages of frost and freezing. Night after night he covered his tender vegetables and fruits to protect them from the cold night weather.

When the warmer day days finally became consistent, he could stop his nightly rituals of protecting these and allow nature to help them grow correctly.

Do you think he acted rightly in protecting these tender young plants? Should he have “let them go” and abandoned them to the forces of nature, which are sometimes cruel?

I will say that I feel he acted rightly in protecting these from the cold and storms, and he will eventually reap the rewards of his nightly efforts.

. . . I believe I will close here for tonight, my dear friend Ellen.
